City Jobs

Terms of Service

Last updated June 11, 2026

These terms cover cityjobs.io and the City Jobs iOS app. They're written in plain language on purpose. By using City Jobs you agree to them.

What City Jobs is

City Jobs is a job search service. We aggregate listings from employers' own public careers systems and the official federal USAJOBS feed, and we host listings that employers post here directly. Listings expire automatically when the job leaves the employer's own feed. A Verified badge means the employer posted directly on City Jobs and the listing was reviewed before going live.

What we don't promise

We mirror what employers publish, and employers change their minds. A listing can close, change pay, or be filled between the moment we show it and the moment you apply. We are not the employer, we don't make hiring decisions, and we can't guarantee a response, an interview, or a job. Pay figures and market statistics on our pages describe advertised listings and public labor data, not a promise about any specific role.

City Jobs is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Accounts

Accounts are free. Keep your password to yourself, give us accurate information, and use one account per person or company. You can delete your account at any time inside the iOS app or by emailing us. We can suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, post fake listings, or break these terms.

Rules for employers

Posting is free. By posting you confirm the job is real and open, the description is accurate, and the listing complies with employment law, including equal-opportunity and pay-transparency rules that apply to you. We review direct posts before they go live and can decline or remove any listing. You keep ownership of your listing content and give us permission to display and distribute it while it's live. No fee-charging "opportunities," multi-level marketing recruitment, or listings designed to collect resumes for roles that don't exist.

Rules for everyone

Don't scrape the site at abusive rates, republish our pages or datasets wholesale, probe or disrupt the infrastructure, or use City Jobs to send spam. Citing our data with a link is welcome; our methodology page explains how the numbers are built.

Whose content is whose

Job listings belong to the employers who wrote them. Everything else on City Jobs, including our guides, market reports, design, and code, belongs to us. Applying to an aggregated listing takes you to the employer's own site, which has its own terms.

Future features

When we ship features that help employers screen applicants with automation, they will be clearly disclosed, used as decision support for humans rather than as the decision, and covered by an update to these terms before they affect you.

The legal frame

City Jobs is operated by DOT IO ENTERPRISES LLC, a Texas limited liability company, and these terms are a contract between you and that company. They are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Texas. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stands. If we change the terms in a way that matters, the date above changes and continued use means acceptance.
