Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-established, high-end private dental and orthodontic practice in San Antonio to find an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who enjoys working in both orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

What You'll Do
Orthodontics & Clear Aligners (Approximately 2 Days/Week)
- Assist with clear aligner treatment from consultation through case completion
- Capture high-quality intraoral and before-and-after photographs
- Perform iTero or comparable digital scans
- Educate patients on aligner wear, compliance, and treatment expectations
- Coordinate treatment progress and documentation with providers
- Manage clinical records and aligner case submissions
General Dentistry & Restorative Support
- Provide chairside assistance for restorative procedures
- Support hygiene as needed in a busy multi-provider practice
- Assist with crowns, fillings, extractions, implant restorations, and surgical procedures
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Accurately document treatment and patient care
Patient Follow-Up
- Contact patients regarding treatment, appointments, post-operative care, and clear aligner progress
- Document communications within the practice management system
- Coordinate scheduling needs with the administrative team
- Deliver exceptional customer service through every patient interaction
Requirements
Required
- Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on clear aligner experience (Invisalign, ClearCorrect, CandidPro, or similar)
- Experience with digital photography and intraoral scanning
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Radiology certification as required by the State of Texas
Preferred
- Experience with iTero scanning
- Multi-specialty practice experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with CareStack or another cloud-based dental software
