Business Analyst, Wealth Technology

Position Summary

The Business Analyst, Wealth Technology is responsible for supporting the definition, documentation, and execution of operational business processes and technology projects across the organization, with a primary focus on Salesforce initiatives for advisor and operations teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates a solution-focused approach, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability for assigned tasks and projects. The role involves consulting with stakeholders, product teams, and platform engineers to ensure the effective implementation of Salesforce and related technology solutions addressing complex business challenges.

This position is hybrid with 3 days/week onsite in St. Louis

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Quickly learn business processes and applications.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks for potentially multiple projects.
  • Support, and at times lead, requirements gathering and design with cross-functional teams.
  • Support development initiatives by translating advisor and operations team needs into actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Deliver project artifacts including requirements documents, workflow diagrams, user stories, demos, training guides, and release-readiness materials.
  • Enable decision making to remove barriers to implementation.
  • Collaborate with advisor, operations, product, and technology teams to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and escalate for management guidance.
  • Works closely with project team through full project lifecycle, supporting creation of project plan, status reporting, issue tracking and resolution, and project closure.
  • Support development through functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of process and user experience improvements.
  • Provide tier-2 support for Salesforce-related questions, issues, products, and processes, as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in an Information Technology role, focusing on business analysis, solution design, Salesforce support, or CRM enhancement delivery.
  • Preferred experience within financial services, wealth management, advisor operations, or related client service workflows.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, including requirements gathering, testing, user support, reporting, configuration support, or enhancement delivery; experience with Workday or Asana is a plus.
  • Ability to translate business needs and user pain points into clear requirements that improve process efficiency and user experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and vendors.
  • Experience in collaborative team-based work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or a related field.

 

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000-$110,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
